Stories Fuel Our World: Evidence-Based Considerations for Literacy-Based Practices
Abstract
Presenter
Phuong Lien Palafox
Phuong Lien Palafox is a multilingual speech-language therapist, author, and
educational partner. For more than twenty years, she has led district and regional
initiatives and now supports schools and organizations worldwide through keynotes,
workshops, and long-term implementation support.
Her work centers evidence-based, human-focused practices—multilingual rights,
impactful service delivery, narrative-based interventions, and advocacy for educators
and service providers. She is the author of The Heartbeat of Speech-Language
Pathology and Buoy, inspired by her family’s refugee journey. Attendees consistently
