Call for Proposals
Thank you for your interest in presenting at the annual ArkSHA Convention: “Igniting Innovation, Inspiring Change.” scheduled for March 11th & 12th 2027 at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas: I. Dodd Wilson Building. We are excited to collaborate with fellow Speech-Language Pathologists, Audiologists, and collaborative care professionals to aim in igniting inspiration, learning and to promote enhanced service delivery models across the lifespan. Our attendees highly value evidence-based intervention approaches and practical, real-world applications that can be applied to their clinical practices.
For Those Traveling to Little Rock, Arkansas
Little Rock, Arkansas’s capital and largest metropolitan area, is home to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and offers a welcoming blend of history, culture, and natural beauty in the heart of the Natural State.
While you’re in town, take time to explore the historic downtown area, home to landmarks such as the Old State House Museum and the newly renovated Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts. Stroll through the vibrant River Market District along the Arkansas River, where you’ll find shopping, dining, and entertainment.
History enthusiasts may appreciate Little Rock’s important role in the Civil Rights Movement. A visit to Little Rock Central High School provides insight into the courageous actions of the “Little Rock Nine” and this pivotal chapter in American history.
Visitors can also enjoy the colorful murals and creative energy of the SoMa District and the Argenta Arts District, or experience the local charm of the Hillcrest Historic District, all featuring boutique shops, local businesses, and unique eateries. Food lovers may want to browse recommendations from The Mighty Rib for some of the area’s favorite local restaurants.
For outdoor enthusiasts, Pinnacle Mountain State Park offers scenic hiking trails and beautiful views. Those looking to explore beyond the city can easily visit Hot Springs National Park or Petit Jean State Park, both located about an hour away.
Whether you’re interested in history, arts and culture, outdoor recreation, or exceptional local cuisine, Little Rock offers a memorable and authentic Arkansas experience.

ALL proposals must be submitted no later than October 17, 2026.
The questions on this form are required for ArkSHA to obtain ASHA CEUs for the conference and for advertising/promotional materials. All proposals will be reviewed and accepted proposals will be notified through the email address provided by October 26, 2026.
